College Uniform

SUMMER UNIFORM (Terms 1 and 4)

  • Standard shorts or trousers (not King Gee style); navy blue for Year 7, 8, 9 and 10, grey for Year 11 and 12 students
  • Traditional black, polishable leather lace-up school shoes with a heel. Black leather joggers are not acceptable
  • Grey school socks. Only grey school socks or black socks may be worn under long trousers
  • White school shirt, top button done up
  • College tie, correctly tied
  • Black business style belt
  • College cap. The cap is not to be worn indoors
  • Optional – college jumper
  • Coloured, painted and long sleeved t-shirts are not to be worn under the College shirt

WINTER UNIFORM (Terms 2 and 3)

  • Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students: The same as summer uniform except all students must wear long navy trousers and the college jumper and/or weatherproof college jacket to and from the College and to morning assemblies
  • Year 11 and 12 students: Students are to wear long grey trousers and their college blazers as the outmost garment to and from the College and to morning assemblies

SPORTS PDHPE UNIFORM

  • The red college polo shirt
  • Black college sport shorts
  • College ankle socks – white with red and black trim
    NOTE: red and black college knee-high sports socks are only required to be worn when representing the College in team sport
  • Appropriate fully closed footwear ie; lace-up sports shoes
  • College tracksuit (compulsory for students if representing the College in Term 2 or 3)

If the COMPLETE sports uniform cannot be worn for whatever reason (including Thursdays), the college uniform must be worn instead to and from the College on sports days. Students must then report to the Sports Coordinator, to gain permission to change into the incomplete sports uniform.

All items of clothing must be in good repair and labelled clearly for identification. Any clothing worn under either uniform must not be visible.

Students who are not in the correct college uniform will not be permitted to go on excursions.

In the event that an item of uniform cannot be worn to the College, a note from a parent or guardian must be forwarded to the Pastoral Care Teacher.

Earrings and studs are not to be worn and necklaces and bracelets must not be visible. Senior students are permitted one ring on the hand.
